Marking time by choices
Making up the mind with signs
Sometimes I hear voices
Guiding me if I am inclined

Lead me left lead me right
Where do you lead me this time?
Shall I elect to stay and fight
Or start to grow as I write?

Fog collects around me thickly
Knowing neither where I’ve been
Nor where I’m stumbling aimlessly
The future remains shrouded and uneven
~~
Knowledge is power so I am told
This time power lies in confidence and faith
Assured that guidance will take hold
Step off and let go with grace.
